Vancouver-based artist Sarah Hin Ching U 余衍晴, will bring Liminal Bodies to the North York Centre Shopping Mall Atrium. The work bridges the digital world and reality; exploring the adaptive capacities of the human body. Audience members will be able to access (via QR code) two 3D models on their smartphones and engage in the performance through a web-based Augmented Reality application that utilizes real-time full body tracking technology. Featured performers include Sarah Hin Ching U, Minuet Charron, and Marina Robinson.

Saturday September 21 from 11:30-11:45am, 12:00-12:15pm and 12:30-12:45pm at the North York Centre Shopping Mall Atrium

LOCATION: This event will take place at the North York Centre Shopping Mall Atrium, just steps from North York Centre subway station. Special thanks to GWL Realty Advisors for hosting this performance!

WHAT TO BRING: Bring your smart phone or tablet device. We’ll have a limited number of devices for audience members to borrow, and a portable Wifi system available. Other than your device, just bring your enthusiasm and an open mind :)
